Additional setting and controls can be accessed with your smartphone via the Dyson Link app. The 900 Series also comes with a new feature called “Recharge and Resume” which allows the Roomba to charge up in the middle of a cycle and then return to the spot it left off. The Roomba 980 can do this feature twice in a row, allowing for up to 360 minutes of combined run time. Instead of a centrally located “CLEAN” button, the Roomba 900 Series does shift that button up slightly in order to make room for the onboard camera, a critical component to the advanced navigation in this model. There are many different models of the Dyson Animal currently in production.
Whether that would be a problem in your house really depends on what furniture you’ve got in place and what areas you want cleaned. According to iRobot, it makes 60 navigational decisions per second, and having watched it work through a tangle of chair legs we’re happy to believe it. In practice it works pretty well, although the idea you won’t have to tidy up dyson robot vacuum before the vacuum does its rounds remains farfetched. The reports were the same as the Roomba, with coverage, battery and charging times. The cross angles bristles pick up most hair and fur and stings, but it is easily wrapped around the extractor bar.
