This tent has worked great for us, it is spacious and pretty simple to set up. We haven’t had any issues with leaking but I suggest that you seal the seams before use to help keep the tent dry. I also suggest purchasing a cheap tarp to place under the tent to help protect the floor from roots, sticks and rocks. If you want added protection from the elements, hang a tarp above the tent to deflect any rain or small falling tree limbs. And finally, the biggest con is probably that the quality isn’t the best with the slightly sticky tent fabric, loose threads, snagging issues and inconsistent mesh.
Yes, we all want a big spacious tent with room for plush sleeping quarters, but we also recommend looking for the little features that can elevate your camping experience. Interior storage is a great example, as all those little mesh pockets help keep things organized and off the floor. Screen rooms, shade awnings, storage vestibules, and privacy ozark trail 10 person tent dividers are also great examples of livability-added features. These features all work together to make a tent feel more like your home away from home and less like a makeshift shelter in the woods. The one exception to the rule here is for the larger cabin-style tents, especially those with an “instant tent” design that uses pre-attached poles.
The Ozark Trail 10 Person Modified Dome Tent with Screen Porch is the ideal tent for your next family camping trip. This tent features 137 square feet of living space that can be split into 3 separate rooms for privacy or used as one large community living area. The tent comfortably sleeps 10 people in sleeping bags or fits 3 queen size air beds. The roof is fully mesh and the removable rainfly can be rolled back on the sides for added ventilation or to enjoy star-gazing. This tent comes with an E-Port and media pocket to enjoy all the comforts of home.
There are no fly vents but they are not necessary with such a design. Remember also its roll-back fly on each side of the roof, this provides excellent ventilation when the sky is clear. This Ozark Trail 10-Person ozark trail 10 person tent Family Camping Tent should not be mixed with several other 10-person tents here in the site. But the dome part is really only a small part of the whole structure as you realize from the aerial view below.
