It’s personal preference if you want your robot vacuum cleaner to stand out, mind. A few robot vacuums have a clever self-emptying feature, most notably those of the iRobot Roomba series. These can transfer the refuse they pick up to a larger compartment in the docking station, letting them carry on for weeks with minimal maintenance. As mentioned, this vacuum cleans deep, and is especially good on carpets. The 360 Heurist (£899) takes the same basic form as the original – albeit with a swanky blue paint job – but most other aspects have been improved.
On your first clean in a new room, simply set it off on Auto and this robot vacuum will map your room—taking note of any obstacles it will need to navigate and adjusting accordingly. Eufy does warn against carpet tassels and other loose items so be sure to get the floor relatively tidy beforehand. I am returning because I am not happy with the service I received from Dyson. The issue I had was that the app doesn’t allow you to schedule more than 1 event a day.
