For Roomba vs. Dyson, I would put theRoomba 690orRoomba 650about on par with the Dyson V6. These vacuums are ideal for small spaces or areas where expansive navigation is not really a concern. However, you don’t need to worry about such things with the iRobot Roomba j7. It isn’t going to tidy away your mess but it will give a wide berth to obstacles that could cause it problems.

We don’t have information from Dyson as to how much the 360 Eye will cost, but according to some rumors, it might be US $1,650. While dark colors on carpet or tile flooring can confuse the sensors, it is less likely to avoid false drops like the Roomba 980 is prone to do. If you happen to rearrange your furniture or add new obstacles, the Roomba 980 will probably bump into them once. Lithium-ion is the reigning champion of rechargeable, long lasting batteries and both the Roomba 980 and the 360 Eye use them.
