Cuisinart Coffee Makers, Espresso Machines & Kettles

It’s the preferred single-cup coffee machine option with more than a few cool features. If you mostly brew for you, or you like variation in your coffee ritual, this could be the top Cuisinart machine on this list for you. This makes 2 Hamilton Beach cups of coffee in a very short amount of time and is perfect for motels. This compact coffeemaker features 24-hour programmability, adjustable auto shutoff, and a handy Coffee Gauge™ system on the front that counts down cups remaining.

Perfect for 2 cups of coffee and the black and stainless finish looks great and is easy to keep clean. Kitchen Selective upgrades the traditional coffee maker with advanced pause and Cuisinart Coffee serve technology, for those busy get-up-and-jet-off mornings. It comes in a variety of sleek modern colors and can brew up to 12 cups for heavy coffee-drinking households or offices.

There is also a problem with leaking when pouring liquid out of the carafe. The lid doesn’t just lift off; it snaps off and feels like it is going to break when you try to remove it. This unit makes a good cup of coffee, but the paper filters don’t fit smoothly.

Just dump and rinse out the spent grounds, and you’re ready for the next pot. This is where a dual brew coffee maker comes in handy. You can brew a pot to share or just a single cup, whatever you’re in the mood for or what time allows. This brewer is perfect for those of you who want an easy to use, fully programmable, compact coffee maker. But if your machine does everything for you, including cleaning itself, then maybe it’s worth considering for your next coffee investment. At least that’s how this coffee maker was built to make you feel.

Cuisinart Coffee

When I’m not writing about products, I spend time either outside hiking and skiing or up in the air in small airplanes. For my latest obsessions, follow me onFacebook andTwitter (@danwroc). Some people love them and use them all the time, however. So, if you decide to use the warmer, I recommend using the lowest setting. Launched in 2008, Coffeeness is the go-to resource for reviews and comparisons of all things coffee-related, with content in five languages.

There, you can search according to price, dimensions, capacity, and other options that might work best for you and your kitchen. Next, pull out the capsule holder from the single serve side of your Coffee Center. And, adjust to your preferred brew settings and start the brew. That in itself makes the Center a viable option for those who want a coffee maker with the best of both worlds.

You can pull the carafe while it’s still brewing, and the water will pause until the carafe is returned so that you can pour yourself a cup. First, the 60 ounce reservoir for the drip brewer is not removable. You’ll need to have enough clearance above the coffee maker to pour in your water. Not only that, filling the water tank takes a steady hand seeing as there isn’t much of an opening to aim for.

Anyway, I went ahead and added two scoops of medium ground coffee and brewed up a 10 ounce cup. I have to say, I was surprised by how fast the brewing process was. However, even though my coffee was ready in under a minute, the results were underwhelming, to say the least. One thing I couldn’t help notice was how loud this coffee machine is while it’s brewing. Seriously, some of the pops and gurgles almost made me jump out of my seat!

It is on the smaller side, so it doesn’t take up too much of your counter space. It is not programmable, so you will have to fill the water reservoir and turn it on manually every time you want to use it. It does, however, automatically shut off 30 minutes after brewing has finished and your dripless stainless steel carafe is filled. As with the previous two models, the DCC-450BK has a brew pause feature, so you can interrupt brewing to get your first cup sooner.
