Based on customer feedback, this feature takes some getting used to, but does work well. Frigidaire’s base models have what it calls a BladeSpray, where a secondary, small “blade-like” spray is attached to the end of the standard spray arm at the bottom of the tub. The independent rotation of the BladeSpray arm creates a superior water distribution that reaches all of your dishes. Most dishwashers feature at least two wash arms, each with nozzles that spray the water throughout the tub. The more arms and nozzles, the better the water distribution, and the cleaner your plates.
The LED lighting and the glossy white liners give the interior a bright, clean look. There is a fully enclosed door bin to contain those small hard to locate items. Optional slim ice maker with large capacity. This is my 3rd and unfortunately it doesn’t live up to the standard set by the previous 2. Also, the prongs or tines that hold the dishes and cups in place are shorter than on previous models.
We didn™™t want to pay over $1,000 for a dishwasher. If people accept paying that, stores will charge more! We are pleased that the dishwasher is quiet and cleans well including drying the dishes with the exception of some plastics.
It’s competent at cleaning, has a fine mix of cycles and a couple of nice extras like a smudge-proof stainless finish and great wine stem holders. But it’s not the best at anything it does. It’s not the best value, best cleaner or most feature rich. Head here for our current list of favorites. If those aren’t available at your local retailer and the FGID2476SF is on sale, it’s competent and worth your consideration.

You’ve probably already done this, but before you start checking any of the more complicated potential causes of your dishwasher not starting, you should start by checking the power source. This feature offers remote access through a wireless network. The specific functionality varies by model but can include options like problem detection and start/stop or cycle selection choices.
A negative is we often have utensils falling through the utensils holder. Overall it’s a great dishwasher and I would definitely recommend. MaxBoost™ Dry technology uses heating and a fan to push out moist air and pull in fresh, dry air so you don’t have to hand dry. Durable, stainless steel interior with removable, stainless steel filter, which prevents re-depositing of food particles. If that’s the case, and especially if you’re fond of the Frigidaire/Electrolux brand, I’m happy to report that this model is competent and it looks great. If you scrape your dishes, you’ll also be very happy with how it cleans, and you likely won’t miss the nice extras from other dishwashers. So the Frigidaire FGID2476SF isn’t a bad dishwasher, it’s just lacking anything to help it elevate above the competition.
