You can fold the Studio 3s into themselves and tuck them into the nice, hard-wearing pouch that Beats provides. I find that setup a lot more portable and straightforward than the less flexible B&W alternative. But then Beats faces up to yet another formidable rival in the shape of the $350 Sony 1000XM2, the successor to the critically acclaimed 1000X. The 1000XM2 also collapse down, and they have a more rigid case, and they have superior noise canceling.
The Beats by Dre Studio3 Wireless is a great gadget, but was hard to justify for the original $350 USD price tag. Today, however, you can easily find this headset beats solo pro wireless for less than $200 USD, making it a much more appealing, albeit outdated, option. At the time of writing this review, Bose had just released their QuietComfort 35 IIs , which had flawless noise-canceling, and objectively better sound quality. In comparison to the Studio3 Wireless, the noise-canceling is far superior, blocking out all outside distractions and ambience. The noise-canceling in the Studio3 Wireless allows for a lot more intrusion. If you want something more comfortable and with the best active noise cancelling for less than $400 USD, look into the Bose QuietComfort 45.
