It leaves the surface slightly damp but has no trouble clearing the water as a whole. While it has a less powerful motor than the corded BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro, that’s somewhat balanced out by its fluffier brushroll, which does a better job absorbing liquids. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max isn’t designed for use on high-pile carpet. Its brushroll motor isn’t strong enough to keep the roller moving on thick carpeting, making it very hard to push around. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max doesn’t come with attachments, though there is an additional replacement brushroll for its floorhead. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max’s range is limited only by the remaining battery life and the room left within its dirt compartment.
The shark cordless Max does an excellent job of handling pet hair on bare floors, though you might need to make an extra pass to clear away all of it on low-pile carpet. The water tank has clearly legible fill lines for cleaning either large or small spaces. The brush roll cleans itself in its storage tray, to flush out dirt, hair and debris after each use. Safe for use on tiles, sealed wood floors, laminate, PVC, and more. The machine comes apart for cleaning – both tanks can be removed and cleaned, the filters come off to be cleaned, and even the roller brush itself comes off. While the cleaning width is shorter on this model, the Cordless Max has a thicker floor brush, allowing greater depth for absorbing dirt. The roller also features a few hard for agitating dirt. I can’t really find anything negative to say about the design of the machine itself or its performance. However I do have one major gripe to mention and it’s the dodgy interface between the machine and the charger-cum-cleaning station. When I first mounted the unit into the cleaning station’s provided port, it refused to engage with the power supply.
I then added a squirt of ketchup to see how well it cleaned it up and how well the self-cleaning system performed. Lo and behold, my new floor dynamo completely eradicated the ketchup after just two passes, depositing it all in the dirty water tank which by now resembled the contents of a cesspit. Emptying the contents into the sink was easy but I did have to manually remove a bunch of hair and rinse the whole tank under the tap – par for the course with any floor cleaner. The CrossWave’s 828ml clean water reservoir comes with two sets of measurement markings, one for short emergency whizzes and another for a full household clean.
You can pop these tools on the 3-in-1 docking station to dry. Before next use, pop all of this stuff back inside your machine with the clean water tank filled with a mix of cleaning solution and water – there are markers based on the size of your home. The bissell crosswave cordless Max is great for pretty much anyone with several rooms to clean, but little time to do so – since it does three jobs in one. Though saying that, we didn’t find that this machine dried floors as well as we would hope.
I opted for the gentle wooden floor setting and pushed and pulled it back and forth but, alas, the wooly roller remained dry. Until I spotted the water-dispensing trigger on the handle. I liked it for my tile floor, but not so much on carpet. Especially when you clean hard floor at the same like you So, it is an expensive mop. I don’t have wifi so i don’t have whatever that offers. I will try to get used to it and decide if I want to send it back. I was disappointed that this machine is 1) heavy and hard to maneuver; 2) takes up more room than expected; 3) leaves a puddle of dirty water once you stop cleaning.
