I only ever used it at low speeds under my desk so I could still work comfortably while moving, and it slid out of the way easily for me to sit down when not in use. If a belt maxkare treadmill or bearing isn’t squeaking, it’s extremely quiet. Also, if you plan to use it with the bar down, you STILL have to have the safety magnet attached or else it will not run.
I’m 5’7″ and my husband is 5’9″ we both have to really check our strides so we don’t go off the back. It does completely fold up as advertised (as long as you don’t add the arms) and it really isn’t that heavy as long as you are using the wheels to move it around. You definitely have to lubricate it first as none was added by the manufacturer – watch youtube videos though. The directions are not written well at all. You would have to be a tiny sprite to run quietly on it. It’s just a piece that is not as advertised.
We have had it for about a month and it works well. My wife uses it in her office to walk on during her meeting. We have not tried Costway Folding Treadmill to run on it yet. I needed to oil up the bottom of the belt right away. When I walked on it it seemed to stick a little.
It is a great value for the money spent. It is easy to use and easy to store when done. I am grateful that no assembly was required as well. This does what I wanted it to do!
The equipment not light, front has wheels. I walk the treadmill every morning. It works like a gym treadmill except it could be a little wider.
