Alen BreatheSmart Classic

The cost of replacement filters is the true cost of any air purifier. Some companies do have a ridiculously low price of the air purifier itself because they earn money on the replacement filters. The cost of the Classic model filter ranges from $79 for the Pure filter to $119 for the OdorCell filter. The beauty of this is that you only have to replace filters once per year; with other air purifiers, having to replace filters 3-5x per year is the standard. Our most quiet and powerful air purifier is perfectly sized for large rooms or open plan living spaces. From the main room to the master bedroom, the BreatheSmart 75i has you covered.

It has a real time air quality indicator and sensor on-board as well as the ability to manually change modes or fan speeds. There are also two interchangeable covers, classic white or wood lasko pedestal fans tone. A solid option if you’re looking for a large purifier with the power to address big spaces. Three upgraded replacement filters are available for the Alen BreathSmart air purifier.

Our experts test thousands of products each year using thoughtful test plans that bring out key performance differences between competing products. And, to assure complete independence, we buy all the products we test ourselves. While the initial purchase price is hefty, the performance offered by the BreatheSmart 75i is outstanding.

This includes bedrooms, living rooms, offices, and even home gyms. Medical-grade filtration captures up to 99.99% of allergens, fine pollutants, and other harmful airborne particles down to a size of 0.1 microns. In addition, the FIT50’s oversized motor and filters deliver heavy-duty True HEPA purification quietly and stylishly. Alen air purifiers are designed to clean the air in your home by trapping and then destroying allergens, bacteria, viruses, and other pollutants. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes to fit any room, and there are multiple filters available to suit everyone’s specific needs. Much like your air conditioner, you’ll likely be keeping an air purifier on for as long as you plan on breathing the air in that room.

Polluted air first passes through a washable Pre-Filter, capturing large particles. Air then moves through HEPA type material where 99.9% of PM2.5 and 99% of PM0.3 are captured. Next, an antimicrobial Lasko Box Fan layer on the HEPA media kills captured germs & microbes. Finally, the air passes through the activated carbon layer which filters out household chemicals, VOCs, odors and pollution.
