I began writing about Barbecue & Grilling in 1997 with one mission, to help the backyard chef have the best experience possible. Whether it is deciding which grill or smoker to buy or how to get that perfect steak, this is why this site exists. I live in Brooklyn where I write about food subscriptions, cooking, kitchen gadgets and commerce. Anything weber genesis 2 with sesame is my all-time favorite food this week. The Orson Gygi Company has evolved from a restaurant wholesale kitchen supply store, to a shopping experience for anyone searching for anything kitchen. The last significant issue with the grill is that while this is a two burner grill there is no easy way to set up the grill for indirect cooking.
Additionally, TheOnlineGrill.com participates in various other affiliate programs, and we sometimes get a commission through purchases made through our links. These are products we have tested, won our top awards, and are highly recommend. Click here to read how we test, about our medals, and what they mean. Since then Weber, like many others, has outsourced manufacturing of more product lines. Things change, but we believe Weber’s commitment to quality and innovation has not. Simply choose date & time option that fit your schedule.
Webers are not cheap, but when you consider that they last decades, the price is easy to justify. Many some cheap grills fall apart after three years or so. Heat Flux is the BTU per square inch and is a more useful measure of how much heat a grill delivers than BTU alone. These small cookers make travel easy, but obviously limit the amount and size of what can be cooked.
Please include a valid and readily accessible phone number with your order to avoid any unnecessary delays. If customer cannot be reached within 48 hours of first attempted contact by delivery company, the customer’s order will be returned to Barbeques Galore. The customer will then be refunded the original purchase price of the order, less shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.
Please see the links I’ve listed in the table for each Weber Q Grill to further your research. There are links to retailers and to my own detailed reviews and price comparisons. Which one of the Weber Q Series grills is right for you? Look at the table above to see what each grill includes; pick the one with the features you want. Upon looking at some photos that I took of a q100 next to a q2200 , it appears that there is a slight difference in the lid, but not so much in the lip of the base. Now, don’t take this as gospel – you might have better luck talking directly with Weber – but if I were to guess, I would say you could probably get away with it.
The significant difference between the Q3200’s compared to the Q1000 and Q2000 series is that they are not really portable. These two grills come with a stationary stand that the grill unit bolts onto. Size-wise and feature-wise, the Weber Q1400 is identical to the Weber Q1000, and the Q2400 is the same size as the Q2000. The major exceptions are that neither model has a button to light it since they do not use gas fuel. Ideal for cooking hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken, steaks, and veggies.
This model also has a Grill Out handle light, which illuminates your grill for nighttime cooking. This grill is the only that can be bought as a natural gas grill model instead of a propane gas grill only. Instead of functioning on liquid propane gas cylinders like the first two models, this is an electrically-operated model. It’s heating element uses 1560-watt power to heat the available 189 square inches of cooking space. With the Q1400 model, you get an evenly heated grill to give you evenly tenderized meat every time without dealing with charcoal or propane tanks anymore.
