The 320 is a great model that sits somewhere between a portable and full feature grill. Although its cooking area is not the largest, its performance definitely ensures that you will not be left wanting with the quality of your cook. Two fold-down trays feature on either side of the grill, allowing you a fair amount of space to rest plates of food ready for cooking, or ready to serve. While they are decent enough for their main purpose and do feel sturdy, they do make the grill a little awkward to move around. The thermoplastic/thermoset parts, which I can only imagine include parts that are expected to get hot, are also covered for 5 years, excluding fading.
I have been using grills since I was in my teens and have had my fair share of experiences with a wide varieties of brands and models. The Q2200 and Traveler are the perfect size for grilling for 5-6 people. portable bbq The Q1200 is the perfect size for grilling for 2-4 people. There are five different Q grills with different sizes, prices and features so making blanket comparisons to the Traveler is not straight forward.
The 1000 is the basic model of the Weber Q portable series. But don’t let the word “basic” discourage you from buying this model. It’s considered a staple in the Weber world and is a great portable propane grill to own.
