This can be adjusted throughout the cooking process, but a time must be selected to start the heater initially. Overall, I’m definitely pleased with the Cuisinart Blend & Cook Soup and Beverage Maker. I’m sure I will continue to use it to make healthy vegetable soups, and I plan to try some of the other recipes included in the recipe booklet. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting an easy way to make homemade creamy soups.
The way that alarm goes off so loud and just keeps going has drawn a few negative comments from people. Thermomix can work as a BLENDER as well as…..so many other things. You can not compare it to any other appliance on the market because there is no other appliance like it. Yes there are heated blenders on the market, but THermomix is not one of them. I love kitchenaid and I will always love kitchenaid, but you can not put them in the same category, nor can you compare cuisinart blenders with it. Oh and btw; jenica, you should really try the thermomix and then you would understand why ppl love it to much.
While so far I have primarily used mine to make soups, you can make a lot of other types of foods with this handy device. Ahh, but it you look at the promo videos on YouTube, that soup looks so darn PRETTY as it boils in the glass! I think that’s a HUGE part of the appeal, plus, I think they are betting on the fact people are more familiar with glass jugs in blenders than stainless steel. To make it work in the US market, they need to make it look as much as possible like something people already know and buy into. It’s just so much easier to sell a known entity than a new concept. That’s one quality that is shared among Thermomix users… we are all embracing a concept that is not fully accepted by the greater number around us.
Cleaning is easy, requiring a drop of detergent and warm water, then running through a two-minute simmer followed by a one-minute blend. The idea behind the is an all-in-one cooking and blending machine for making soups and sauces.
Thanks to their razor-sharp blades, they can even crush ice cubes, which is not something every regular blender is capable of! Nowhere, nowhere could I find specs for the three temperature settings of the Cuisinart machine.
Navigating my fingers around the sharp metal to pick out pieces of lentil was a challenge. Spend their days obsessing about all the delicious things that go into our stomach. So it makes sense they’d know what gadgets are best suited to the creation of good food. And now that the weather has cooled off, they’ve turned their attention to warm foods…

You can strip the process back to basics if you like but we feel the usefulness of this product has the potential to grow and grow as you become more familiar with it. As this machine involves more than simply pressing a button, we began with two of the provided recipes. First a curry paste, with the machine having no trouble grinding up ingredients for a smooth result using ‘level 3 blend’ (there are 1–4 speeds available). I’ll just say that they multiply the possibilities in ways that still surprise me nowadays after a lifetime of tmx cooking. About them and the steaming basket it can also be said that the materials used and their shape have also undergone a lot of investigation and development. A Tmx 31 bought in 2010 has a different varoma, blades and butterfly than one bought in 2006 .
