One of the benefits of this gas grill – and others like it – is that size doesn’t matter. As long as it is hooked up to enough propane gas, it is able to produce a good amount of heat. This model, in particular, does a great job of reaching higher temperatures.
If you are catering to small family or even small party, you should be able to ensure that everyone is fed in a timely manner. It doesn’t matter how many grills I have put together, it is not a process that I relish or look forward to. There are typically too many parts, too many tools required, and a complicated manual waiting to be translated.
Here is a look at the burner configuration on the Q 3200. There is are two accessories available for this grill, a griddle and a rotisserie, weber genesis 2 that really ramp up your grilling fun. You can use the griddle to cook breakfast favorites like bacon and eggs or pancakes outside.
The Q 1000 Portable Gas Grill features quick and easy push-button ignition to get the party started as soon as you’re ready. The weber genesis 2 Range is easily one of our favorite portable grills. These grills are well-built, strong, contemporary and really powerful.
Even though its weight may keep you from carrying it into more remote locations, that job is best left to backpacking stoves anyway. The manufacturer’s warranty on all of these grills is outstanding. The warranty on the cast aluminum body and Thermoset/Thermoplastic portable bbq parts is 5 years. Warranties on all other parts are for 2 years, which is more than enough time to work out any defects that might be present. Other features include a thermometer built into the hood and two Q-shaped burners instead of one.
It is a perfect size for the family of four, can be used with the stand or without , and very easy to move. Furthermore, space is enough to feed a family of four and can accommodate almost eight burgers, five tenderloins, or a rack of ribs on it. The grill has the dimensions 14.5 x 27 x 16.5 inches with the lid closed and weighs only 30 pounds, making it portable enough to take it with you in your RV. Overall, the construction of the Q1200 grill makes it quite durable yet lightweight, allowing you to take it with you to the beach or even a farmhouse. All the materials used to make and reinforce this grill protect it from rust, allows it to retain heat better and reduces maintenance.
Let’s take a look at the table that I put together below that compares the base features of size and features before we talk about the big picture. After about 15 minutes of preheating both the Q grills and Traveler will have grate temperatures approaching 600F. By the way, I realize that everyone has different needs for their grills and that styling preferences are purely subjective.
If you do not own a reliable and trust-worthy grill, your barbeque experience could be quite frustrating. I have to say that I didn’t expect the Q 2200 to function and perform as well as it did. From putting it together to actually using the grill, it has been a wonderful experience all around. And, while I will be using my whole grills for heavy duty grilling and smoking, this has earned its spot in my collection. In general, though, this gas grill is pretty easy to use.
