Naturally, I wanted to give you an honest look at what it’s like to assemble this beast, so I sucked it up and did it myself. Bringing the elliptical inside the house wasn’t too bad as the actual machine weighs less than 150 pounds . Exercising on this machine is incredibly easy to do, unlike higher-end machines that have you create user profiles and give the name of your firstborn child and swear a blood oath. Another huge plus is the rower’s size and portability — which is a key factor for me since I live in a small apartment. The machine fits snuggly off to the side of my living room and can easily be folded up to fit under my bed.
Sunny Health & Fitness is a home exercise equipment retailer. Its products include exercise bikes, ellipticals, treadmills, rowers, steppers, weight sets and fitness accessories. You can find these products online or in select stores throughout the United States.
There are also PDF user manuals available for download on the company’s website. It took a few adjustments to get the balance correct — if I’m honest, a few rides. Sunny Health Fitness I played around with the adjustable pads a bit a few different times before I finally seemed to get it right and the bike no longer wobbled when I stood up in it.
Overall, the Sunny Health & Fitness Magnetic Elliptical is a solid buy for the price. The real win with this machine is the overall stability and lack of shaking regardless Sunny Health Fitness of the resistance level you’re using. I would recommend being aware of the short stride length and probably wouldn’t recommend this elliptical to someone tall.
Sunny has always had fast and responsive customer service answers. They offer a range of options for products including very inexpensive budget products. The site says the seat to handlebar distance is 18 inches to 23 inches but from where my hands would be placed on the handlebars to the seat tip at the closest setting, I measured 23 inches.
The handlebars are one of the nicer features of the Pro Indoor Cycling Bike, as they are padded, slip-free, and ergonomic. They are designed to accommodate different riding styles for different workouts. They also adjust vertically, which we found was helpful, especially since more than one person in our household was using the bike. Being able to move the handlebars meant the bike worked for people of different heights—and it helped ease any tension in our backs as well.
With a footprint close to 7 feet long, nearly everyone should be able to have a fully extended rowing movement. The foot pedals are also large enough to accommodate every user. Another nice feature is the quiet magnetic resistance on this rower.
The Sole F63 is a great option if you’re looking for a mostly no-frills walking treadmill. It costs less than some higher end options but still comes with all the standard features of a treadmill and the ability to stream classes. The Sunny Health & Fitness Treadmill might serve well for a season or two, but it doesn’t promise a long-term commitment. You can easily find sub-$500 treadmills with better factory warranty packages… and in the $500-to-$999 treadmill category, sometimes a free two-year parts and labor warranty can be found.
I don’t feel this way at all about the Sunny Health & Fitness elliptical. Whether moving forwards, backwards or increasing resistance, I experienced no shaking. The weight capacity is 330 pounds, which is a really great weight capacity, especially for a budget machine. If you’re new to working out, picking the best cardio machine can feel really overwhelming.
