Eufy makes several RoboVac models built on the same base as the 11S, plus extra features. The following table is a cheat sheet of the most popular Eufy bump bots as of November 2021 (though it’s not a full list of all their models). The 11S is quiet enough that you could easily forget that it’s running if you’re home while it’s working. We measured the volume on the bot’s maximum suction setting and found that it was just 57 dBc, a full 5 dBc quieter than the Roomba 694—that’s a major difference. While not as effective as the top performers on our list, it still managed to pick up 88.9 percent of all debris laid before it. It is a much better performer on hard floors (94.35%) vs carpets (83.52%), which is worth bearing in mind depending on your flooring. The best robot vacuums are designed with convenience in mind above all.
The suction power doesn’t stand up to these larger devices, and the collected debris is pulled into a small internal bin with limited dustbin capacity. For deep carpet cleaning, it will automatically increase its suction. When the dustbin is full, the unit will dispose of its contents in the shark cordless included automatic dirt disposal base. Its hands-off, corner cleaning, self-emptying features make it a prime pick if doing one more pass for dog and cat hair tumbleweeds brings tears. In late May 2019, iRobot introduced the Roomba s9 and s9+ as the “smartest, most powerful robot vacuum yet”.
That’s because the S7 is smart enough to know when it’s on a rug, and can lift its mopping pad so that your carpet doesn’t get soaked. A collection of smart sensors enhances the robot’s ability to maneuver obstacles and drive around furniture, as well as prevent it from accidentally tumbling down a flight of stairs. The robot vacuum will run up for up to 90 minutes before heading back to its charging station.
