It took some maneuvering but I was eventually able to slay these odd looking hairs. The first thing you will notice when you turn the shaver on is the vibration of the shaver body. Annoyingly strong to the point that if you have ticklish hands then this shaver will send you into fits of giggles. Holding the Remington Shaver in your hand is a comfortable experience.
Braun Series 5 shaver and charger/cleaning station. If you’re looking for a shaver that’s easier to maintain, the Series 5 has more advancements in terms of battery, charging, cleaning, and maintenance. The Series 3 is simpler with less bells and whistles than the newer models. The 310s has a small element that will direct some hairs for a better shave.
I am only drawing attention to it because other brands of electric shavers do not contain this flaw. These are called charging studs and when they make contact with the included cleaning station, the battery will instantly begin to charge. Much simpler than plugging and unplugging the charging cord from your shaver. The cleaning station is essentially a dock that cleans, charges and lubricates your electric shaver.
My old series 5 is still working and actually is much lighter and faster and closer shave. I haven’t used an electric razor for over 20 years due to getting a rash from them and I bought this to give it a go. I think the bottom line overall from user reviews points toward it’s a good shaver, but not great. The Philips Norelco Shaver most common complaint is how much effort has to be made and the time it takes to shave fully when users had quite a bit of growth. And as I have experienced some users mention how some hairs are just not picked up by the shaver. This does not apply to US and Canada models for users within the US and Canada.
With most electric shavers including this Braun, up to 2 or 3 days is best, but I do like to push them a little at first for review purposes. The Braun Series 5 delivers with an electric shaver that works wet in the shower, with foam or gel, or dry. An eight-directional head adjusts to follow the contours of your head, and neck and jaw. The Series 3 and Series 5 are easy to care for on a daily basis.
In some models of the Series 3, you’ll find that there is no movement in the shaving heads. Otherwise, they don’t stay in contact with the skin as well as other models. The shaving elements move independently from the one next to it. In some models, the head can also be locked into position for precision cuts.
