With 393 square inches of cooking space, you can cook much more at the same time. However, its larger capacity increases its dimensions to 55.5 x 50.2 x 30 inches, which reduces its portability. To counter this, the grill comes with an included heavy-duty cart that can help you wheel out the grill from its storage space. But behind that weight, you have a glass-reinforced nylon frame, supporting a cast aluminum body and lid, that cover a porcelain-enameled cast iron cook surface.
It is important to control the temperature off-the-bat if you plan on cooking more on the low-and-slow side. This means that the burner doesn’t need to crank out heat at nearly the same rate as other, less well-insulated grills. Everything went smoothly until it came to the catch pan—because nothing can ever just be that easy, right?
