With a double-wall design and generous use of mesh on two sides and the ceiling, the Coleman Sundome 6 offers very good ventilation. Adding to the breezy feel is its partial rainfly, which when guyed out allows for a significant amount of airflow on warm summer nights. You also get a zippered mesh door and back wall along with a floor vent located at the back of the tent. As you can see, most of the six person tents that we reviewed have a pretty similar range of peak height, but the White Duck 13′ Regatta Bell Tent tops them all. However, not all tents are made equal, and even the Regatta Bell Tent and many of the dome tents reviewed still have areas that you may need to bend down in.
If you don’t mind sacrificing a bit of sleeping space inside, the Coleman Evanston Screened Tent is a great choice to keep the bugs at bay. The weakest part of the ozark trail 4 person dome tent fabric is likely to be the pole sleeves, but if you treat them gently they should last several years. For a cheap tent, the Sundome 6 seems to be pretty durable.

I feel that this tent can still do decently in a hot weather since there are plenty of ventilations. Air flows easily when all screens are not used and the windows are fully opened. By opening the vents and the windows, there shouldn’t be any issue for condensation.
This dome-shaped tent won’t offer much extra space for your family though, so maybe consider larger tents if you have lots of gear. As a 6-person tent, this tent is lightweight, but these tents are not ozark trail 4 person dome tent designed for backpacking. Two people can share the weight of the tent’s components if they need to carry it for a long distance. With a peak height of six feet, this is the tallest Sundome tent.

Bought this tent to replace the 6 man ozark trail 10 person tent tent we had that we couldn’t get new poles for. Though they both were 6 man tents and had the same footprint, the River Gorge did not have as much room. The tent with three people and their gear had room to spare. It’s durable and easy to set up, providing comfortable shelter that’s big enough to keep everyone happy. Aside from the draw of the darkroom technology, this is where the Sundome is going to make some friends. It’s certainly one of the best value tents we’ve reviewed, and for those looking to spend a little more money on all the other things that go with camping , it’s a great choice. It doesn’t have the features and the long-view durability of higher-end models, but it also doesn’t have that higher-end price.
