Cuisinart Clermont Pellet Grill Review

I was browsing the big box store websites as I do to find new pellet grill/smoker models and on Lowes.com I came across a couple of new Oklahoma Joe’s pellet grills. Cuisinart has recently released a new pellet grill/smoker into their range, the Clermont. As with their previous offerings the Woodcreek cuisinart soup maker & Twin Oaks, Cuisinart are selling this pellet grill/smoker exclusively through Walmart. As I’ll discuss below the Clermont does have some advantages over the Woodcreek, however, its also currently priced quite a bit higher. I also think the Clermont has some missed opportunities in terms of features.

My general thoughts on the Clermont match the phase ‘two steps forward, one step back’. Hence, there is some progress here, however, its not where it needs to be on price/features. Protect your Clermont Smoker from the elements with the Cuisinart Clermont Pellet Grill & Smoker Cover! This cover is specially designed to fit the Clermont pellet grill.

The Platinum Lockhart is a superb mid-range wood pellet grill and smoker. It has one of the largest cooking spaces for any pellet grill under $1,000. It comes with 4 probe inputs, a double-door smoking box, a large hopper, cuisinart pots and pans set ash cleaning system, touch screen display controller, and Bluetooth connectivity. The Woodwind Wi-Fi 24 is an attractive, versatile grill that fits better in tight spaces due to its vertical legs and small footprint.

External shelving also adds more space for food prep. Follow the next few steps to connect the app to your device. I have a cuisinart grind and brew which I can’t find the instructions for and have tried everything! ALso, I usually grind, but not this time and it’s so long…

There are side knobs that allow the smoke and heat to be adjusted in the top cabinet. The height (5.5” inches) between the racks is large enough so you can cook bulky food in the upright position. You can also remove one rack to have space for a 24-pound turkey. The 22-pound hopper gives you at least 10 hours of high temp cooking or 20+ hours of slow temp smoking. With 1,057 square feet of cooking surface area, this KitchenAid grill is a good option for larger families or anyone who likes to host. The brand claims that it uses an even-heat system to evenly cook anything on the grill and its cooking system is 91,000 BTUs.
