This model simply covers every room on the same floor as if it were one large space. Another thing it doesn’t have is a ‘keep out’ zone function which can be handy if you have areas you’d like the vac to avoid. These are extremely useful functions to have on board but they’re not essential so if you’d rather the vac didn’t trundle into a specific room, simply close the door or put up some kind of barrier.
However, it can’t avoid obstacles, such as cables and shoes; so you’ll need to pick these up yourself and on full power, it’s louder than most of its competitors, coming in at around 70db. Similarly look for robot vacuums that have large dust canisters, or those that empty their own dust bins, meaning it really can be left to clean your floors unaided.
