The Hasselblad color profile is fully polished, though, and really nailed the look and feel of the rural Pennsylvania landscape during both a perfectly lit sunrise and a pretty standard late October afternoon. It’s an 8-bit profile though, so there’s not as much flexibility for color adjustment—if you want a different look, 10-bit D-Log is the way to go. The Mini 2 also has gotten raw photo support, so you can retain more detail in your images, which is a huge deal when it comes to editing. This has all gotten a little bit messy, thrusting a technology company and software and hardware designed for antiterrorism and regulatory purposes into the middle of a disastrous conflict. None of this changes, however, the fact that these drones can be useful in war, and that DJI now finds itself in a difficult position. Explore uses the main camera for 1x, 2x, and 4x, but the 4x results are a little soft and show evidence of digital upscaling. I wish my Mini2 had at least control over Video Sharpness and Contrast since the built in fixed settings are not ideal for editing as it has sharpening haloes artifacts and too much contrast for bright scenes.
