I Tried The Bissell Crosswave Wet

The CrossWave Max is the latest addition to the CrossWave family, a line of mopping vacuums from Bissell. Cordless and equipped with advanced features, the new model offers an improved cleaning shark cordless experience. I was disappointed that this machine is 1) heavy and hard to maneuver; 2) takes up more room than expected; 3) leaves a puddle of dirty water once you stop cleaning.

Before next use, pop all of this stuff back inside your machine with the clean water tank filled with a mix of cleaning solution and water – there are markers based on the size of your home. The BISSELL CrossWave Cordless Max is great for pretty much anyone with several rooms to clean, but little time to do so – since it does three jobs in one. Though saying that, we didn’t find that this machine dried floors as well as we would hope. They will still be damp, but not as wet as they would be after mopping. It’s also great for parents and pet owners, since it can vacuum up liquid-based mess, too, and it rids the need of getting out your vacuum and mop when something is spilt.

I’ve noticed the weight mostly on stairs, as I try to vacuum each step and bring it to multiple levels of my house! It also takes a bit more strength to maneuver around things like furniture. It is tempting to pull out the Crosswave and get the mopping done because it really is easy, but I have to plan dyson robot vacuum before I mop. The first con of the Bissel Crosswave Max is one that I have been worried about since the beginning. I talked about the battery life in my first blog, and I will say, it takes a lot to get used to. This is one pro that I had on the original review, but it is worth mentioning again.

When on the carpet, just pause the spray and stick to the vacuum. The function is strong and the height of its head is just right. But be mindful to not get confused by the self-cleaning claim when you’re stacking it against other options. Its curved handle is long but not overreaching towards the direction of the user when cleaning. The 2554A is designed in a beautiful way that’s easy to hold and navigate on any floor. All vacuums have parts, but some of them are extremely hard to disassemble.

All in all the Bissel Crosswave is easy to carry and portable, but the design shark cordless isn’t going to blow you away. It costs $249.99 in the US and £249.99 in the UK as well. That’s about AU$350 in Australia, but we’ve yet to hear if the cleaner will officially be made available there.
