This reminds me of vintage Diorella, but O is fresher, brighter, sunnier, and the dry down doesn’t have that “rotting meat” sort of smell that I get from Diorella. The opening is a bright, super fresh citrus with just a hint of sweetness to it to keep it from being too sour, like you just put a lemon slice directly in your mouth. It’s like a spritz of cool water on your face when you’re hot. This part fades fast , but it turns into something quite lovely and unexpected from a citrus scent – just going to show this comes from a different age.
Thanks to Action, I am able to experience this fragrance from a vintage miniature bottle which happily has not spoiled. About 30 years ago my favourite aunt used to wear this fragrance. A couple of years later I finally was able to afford a O de Lancome myself. I always felt very special, pretty and grown up while wearing it. What happens during the next hour or two is fantastic. I’m not terribly good at discerning notes, but something in the final phase of “O” (is that the oakmoss or the sandalwood?) creates a delicate, round, very classic cloud of scent .
You hit that shower, OdeL soap &/or bath & shower gel followed by a light ‘bloke-spritz’ of the EDT gives just the right touch before going out. With the new PWA, the time until the page is interactive fell by 84%, compared to their previous mobile experience, with a corresponding 15% decrease in bounce rates. Lancôme saw their mobile sessions rise by more than 50%, and conversions increase by 17%. The new strategy also delivered a much better user experience across platforms. IOS is extremely important for Lancôme—65% of all users landing on their PWA are on iPhones.
Ô De Lancome smells super, very zesty, fresh, clean, just everything really that I love in a summer/casual cologne type fragrance. Ô opens up with a really hard smack of lemon, pure, fresh, mouthwatering, lemons and something which gives it a very fizzy feeling, almost sherbert like which is possibly the bergamot. Follow with a toner to rebalance your skin’s pH levels for clarified, luminous skin.

AR-powered apps will soon become a critical part of the retail experience, according to a report in the Harvard Business Review. By using AR to demonstrate products, retailers can lead their customers to more accurate expectations, more confidence about purchase decisions and better product satisfaction. This move towards a more experiential retail concept increased the ‘shareability’ of the brand as consumers took to social media to post their snaps from the pop-up using their branded hashtag. Lancôme, in particular, has managed to stay consistently successful and month-on-month come out as one of the top beauty brands by Media Impact Value™ (MIV®) in comparison to its competitors. In this #BBMoment, we explore how the brand has evolved in order to retain their existing, dedicated customers, but also push themselves towards the newer customer of tomorrow.
It reminded me of someone I didn’t like from the past, it smelled dated. I tried it again and I enjoyed the herbally, grassy, lemon lime scent. @Jerrythecat, yes, many eaux are indeed quite unissex to say the least.
Lancôme saw mobile traffic eclipse desktop traffic for the first time in 2016. Despite a growing number of mobile site visitors, mobile conversion rates didn’t match those for desktop. While 38% of shopping carts led to orders on desktop, the mobile web conversion rate Lancome makeup was only 15%. This disparity revealed that consumers were experiencing significant obstacles when trying to purchase on mobile. As the mobile web became a core focus area, Lancôme struggled to build a fast and engaging experience for their mobile web shoppers.
Dry, fresh, citrus, herbal with a hint of white woodsy floral, just perfection. A very inexpensive close I discovered is Electric Agent Provocateur for women, if you are seeking an inexpensive summer citrus fragrance that is also not sweet or cloying and unisex. Lancôme is part of the L’Oréal Luxury Products division, Estee Lauder NIGHT REPAIR which is its parent company and offers luxury skin care, fragrances, and makeup at higher-end prices. On a hot summer day this cools like nothing else. Green, fresh, with a powerful citrus blast — this is a scent that will not date. My grandmother had this perfume, my mother had it too, so she offered me the EDT.
