A perfect date scent, work scent, and would make a beautiful signature scent. This is a rich and exquisite women’s perfume. Smells of raspberry with rose vanilla caramel, so seductive, dark and sweet at the same time. A very unique white floral scent that is sweet and sugary, but not cloying.
A couple of years ago I bought OdL, the reformulated version. Can’t exactly explain which notes are missing. Although it reminds me of the vintage genifique one of the 80’s, it’s not the same anymore. Nevertheless, still a very lovely perfume. Citrussy, green, fresh, crispy and a bit spicy.
I was about to write this scent off the list when I brought my wrist up to my nose for another sniff. This starts out bright and very fresh, a burst of citrus in the opening. The spices join in, with a predominant basil, making it garden like, though it does become quite masculine indeed. A woody vetiver note makes an appearance at the end. If oakmoss isn’t a problem for you , then this would be a great scent for hot weather, pretty longlasting, very natural.
You hit that shower, OdeL soap &/or bath & shower gel followed by a light ‘bloke-spritz’ of the EDT gives just the right touch before going out. With the new PWA, the time until the page is interactive fell by 84%, compared to their previous mobile experience, with a corresponding 15% decrease in bounce rates. Lancôme saw their mobile sessions rise by more than 50%, and conversions increase by 17%. The new strategy also delivered a much better user experience across platforms. IOS is extremely important for Lancôme—65% of all users landing on their PWA are on iPhones.
Ô De Lancome smells super, very zesty, fresh, clean, just everything really that I love in a summer/casual cologne type fragrance. Ô opens up with a really hard smack of lemon, pure, fresh, mouthwatering, lemons and something which gives it a very fizzy feeling, almost sherbert like which is possibly the bergamot. Follow with a toner to rebalance your skin’s pH levels for clarified, luminous skin.
It is a chypre, but a very light, mild one. A young Parisiènne strolling the Champs Elysée would wear this circa 1969. One of Lancôme’s longest surviving EDTs, geared toward the younger set, a little unisex, a little indicative of the times. This is probably my signature scent now as I can really enjoy it. The perfect summer fragrance but I wear it all year round. The scent is nothing out the ordinary but it is for me as it came to me during springtime back when I was a young adult.
However, it manages to smell amazing mixed with droplets of Pacific Ocean drying on your sun-kissed skin. HAs anyone here said “smells like bathroom?” Far from it! I have it and I like it a lot – it’s like a sentimental trip back to a summer sometime in the 90s.

When I want to relax and go away to a place that nobody but myself has ever visited, I meditate. I imagine a place that, to me, is the epitome of relaxation. There is a river that stretches out endlessly, and I’m drifting on it on a quickly crafted sea vessel worthy of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Fin, while the sun shines down. No rapid waters, no waterfalls, just a very, very calm river.
