This scent is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. One spray and it’s enough to fill up a room, not to mention it lasts for ages on my skin! Definitely more of a autumn/winter type of perfume, Estee Lauder makeup but gorgeous nonetheless! I watched lots of reviews about it before blind buying it. People said it’s a heavy perfume. So I only wore one spray but I couldn’t smell anything.
It smells so delicious, so feminine, so pleasent. I feel like an eligent young woman who walks around in the streets of Paris when I wear this. This perfume will always have a place in my shelf. If this was made by a niche perfume company it would be the most hyped fragrance. I own 52 perfumes but I think if I HAD to pick one that is my biggest love it would be la nuit.
Little too sweet for my taste (and that’s the reason for 4 stars,) especially that Tresor was my go-to for many years, but since I outgrew it I wanted to try a variety. However, between La Nuit and Midnight Rose, this one wins. Admittedly, a little sharp on the opening for my usual taste; and a la folie is so creamy that I wasn’t ready for the syrupy fruit quality this one has. But it’s short lived because it dries on my skin to a smooth, spicy very well done rose with warm smoky praline and vanilla cream. I normally hate rose dominant scents but this is the absolute exception for me.
As it’s a very cold night you put on black opaque tights as well and reach for your black lace up pointy toe high heeled boots. Been struggling to find the caramel bomb I so wanted for my collection….until now!!! Smells like caramel sauce and brown sugar and I couldn’t be happier. A truly intoxicating and delicious gourmand.
The fruity notes are still there. It’s very dark and sweet, when I say syrupy, I mean it’s VERY sweet and syrupy, but it’s also dark and mystrious. I think it smells very gothic and like something a vampire would wear. It’s a less complicated fromula, but I think my only complaint is I wish they had kept the caramel.
