Because it becomes soloed out, it does feel slightly more synthetic, but not to a fault. As for woody notes, I really don’t get any. Perhaps some sandalwood in the base, but not the woodiness I was expecting, which I like. This still has mass market appeal, but it doesn’t smell like generic fragrance counter perfume. Woman By Ralph Lauren Eau De Parfum Spray embraces the very essence of joyful femininity. It was created by Anne Flipo and launched in 2017.

Dry down smells like a creamier version of SB from YSL on my skin. Warm, cozy , very classy and grown up. A bit of old school (not in a bad way! kind of old school better quality scents). I was very pleasantly surprised by it. Everything smells too forced–the gourmand aspect, the tuberose, and the overwhelming fruity facets…

You can wear this day or night, work or dinner out. Its the kind of perfume you wear and own. It does not wear you, and that’s exactly what you want. I get lots of pear in the opening and then quickly get a hit of delicious woody notes which take me to some beautiful forest, bathing in the fresh water… Black currant is very prominent to my nose, I kind of like it. Its mostly about strong white florals, I knew right away this has a tuberose, and in this scent, its a very creamy one.

I don’t understand any of the other reviews on this saying it’s fruity and soapy. This smells like the inside of a movie theater to me. I commented a while back that a sample of this perfume Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt reminded me of talcum powder too much for me to use (it’s the type of perfume to give me a headache). Well, I wound up giving the sample to my mom, who likes those types of scents .

And the dry down is very nice on me…so soft, flowery, a bit creamy but not over creamy… RL Woman is a very pretty white floral with hints of gourmand and juicy fresh fruit. Rhubarb is kind of a trendy note right now, and I like the tart edge it lends to Woman in the opening. Underneath that is a creamy and smooth bouquet of classic florals, with a buttery but clean tuberose as the main note. The hazelnut really comes out in the drydown, and it smells delicious, like it was sugared and roasted. The pear gives the fragrance a slightly cooling edge.

It isn’t unpleasant but isn’t anything special either. I think I’d enjoy it more if the top notes were more in balance with the middle and base notes, as I definitely prefer it after it’s been mellowing for a good while. Some have mentioned a creamy tuberose and I wish I got more of that, or any! Very strong, so best sprayed sparingly in my opinion. This scent would be great as an all-season signature scent.
