Canada Goose Fashion Brand To Stop Using Fur By End Of 2022

There are PLENTY of jackets made without cruelty made in Canada, US, UK etc. I’m amazed at how every other person goose coat is wearing s CG coat. It reminds me of the young girls obsession with those dreadful looking UGG boots.

In the 1970s, founder Sam Tick’s son-in-law, David Reiss, came on board and later launched the label Snow Goose. When the company began marketing its outerwear in Europe, however, it found out that another company went by the name Snow Goose, so it became Canada Goose. The weather in Chicago is so frigid this week that temperatures rival those in Antarctica. To survive the extreme cold, Chicagoans are bundling up in their warmest outerwear, including Canada Goose coats, the most expensive of which retail for roughly $1,700. But in the Windy City, Boston, and even in the United Kingdom, the outerwear has been linked to violent crime. If you live and work in northern Ontario in Marathon, Nipigon, Geraldton, Long Lac etc.and north of there you need these Canada Goose coats.

Canada Goose make their coats in Canada, with the best quality materials, with fairly paid workers using an environmentally sustainable process. To goose coat the person that said Lands End is comparable, she is full of it. It used to be really good but now the sizing and quality is ridiculously bad.

I am 6’1″ female apps. 175 lbs. Normally wear size 8. I I have about a 6’5″ wingspan…. I have tried on the Women’s Canada Goose in Trillium (M/L) and I love the warmth and durabilty and aesthetic of that coat. However, the arms are still quite not long enough, and I don’t want to keep going up sizes when the arm length is the issue, not the overall fit. I get that flying squirrel look where the length of the coat does not go all the way up my torso to my armpits. Is there a coat similar to the aesthetic of the Trillium that you could recommend that would be good for my height/arm length?

I also have a faux fur short coat from Laura’s and I have to tell you that it is not only very fashionable but it is also incredibly warm. Again, I am sure at -40 it would not protect me for very long but I am very pleased with it. (I think it was $190 when I purchased it 5-6 years ago. I actually have a MEC parka that was made in Canada. Its too bad that they no longer carry down coats made in Canada.
