Good lasting power, good projection, not as well blended as La vie est belle, but a bit less common. Its an attractive, safe scent, but has some personality. Opens with a lot of pear, but settles on a very clean rose scent. I honestly don’t understand why the reviews are so bad? I just got a mini 5ml bottle and I love it!
Rose water lightens up a creamy base of vanilla and musk. And we love how the sleek, thin bottle lays flat in our palm, or on our dresser, like a piece of modern sculpture. The scent is lovely rosy, not heavy, fresh, genifique not aquatic, very pleasing and pleasant but not boring, at least not to my nose. Beautifully floral, but not sweet at the same time. A candidate for me when I can not decide in the morning, which always goes.
To me, fragrance should be how i smell when people hug me or sit beside me. If you’re like me then you’ll like Idole probably. Estee Lauder makeup It was love at first sniff, sometimes I just want a really lovely scent like this. Not a safe blind buy i would say.
It does last a really long time and people will definitely smell it on you even with just a couple of sprays. I’ll use what I have but I’m not gonna buy it again. As I’m sure you know, “si” means “yes” in both Italian genifique and Spanish. It’s a very powerful fragrance but is also very chic. Freesia, blackcurrant, musky wood, and rose dominance this perfume. It’s strong enough to last all day and will make you feel very distinguished.
I don’t think it smells like Givenchy Irresistible, but I do enjoy both of them. I think the strength in this fragrance is that it doesn’t try too hard and it has a remarkable subtlety. It is much softer than Black Opium & LVEB, which I did not enjoy, but has that similar appeal that I can see a lot of people really enjoying. There isn’t one particular note that pierces through offensively here – it mingles together.
Then it shifted to a floral musk fragrance. My skin usually turns musk to a weird baby wipe kinda vibe but Idole didn’t disappoint me at all. The muskiness in this feels luxurious.. Extremely feminine and extremely generic.
