Women’s Road Bike Collection

There aren’t many pricier models now that only offer rim brakes. Many bikes will have an all-carbon fork or one with carbon fork blades and an alloy steerer. This tends to absorb road bumps well for a more comfortable ride, but you can find alloy or steel forks on some lower priced bikes. If you value uniqueness the Argonaut RM3 is as unique as it gets. Everything about the RM3 is custom and built to order at the US based Argonaut headquarters.

The lightweight, easily adjustable Vector composite seatpost further minimizes drag. It all adds up to a race-ready machine that leaves the competition behind. Integrated aerodynamics – AeroSystem Shaping, a result of CFD analysis and dynamic wind-tunnel testing, optimizes aerodynamic performance at every yaw angle.

It ticks all the boxes; a super lightweight carbon frame with truncated aerofoil tube shapes, integrated handlebars with fully hidden cables, hydraulic disc brakes, carbon wheels and clearance for 28mm tyres. Our collection of features lightweight and aerodynamic designs for smooth, fast rides on pavement or gravel. KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS Lightweight efficiency Composite frameset is engineered to offer minimal weight without sacrificing pedaling stiffness and efficiency. Pro pedigree Proven geometry and precise steering stiffness makes this frame design the choice of climbers and all-rounders who compete at the Giro d’Italia, Tour de France and other major races around the world. Speed and compliance The Variant composite seatpost and Giant WheelSystem with tubeless tires combine for a smooth ride and low rolling resistance.

Wherever the road takes you, we’ve got a bike to make your journey worthwhile. Riding with bike lights is a no-brainer, regardless of whether you predominantly ride during the day or in the huffy mountain bike dark. Road-specific sunglasses are generally lightweight, with a mix of interchangeable lenses. It’s a good idea to check for comfortable wear, ensuring the sunglasses fit with your helmet.

Our attitude is that the more cyclists there are, the more demand for trails, dedicated bike lanes, and bike amenities which we all benefit from. It creates a productive cycle – not to mention, it can make the population healthier which is good for all of us. Road bikes are built with a lighter, sleeker frame than their mountain bike counterparts. Ideal for fitness riding and urban commuting alike, find a bike with the frame and features you need. All bikes are built, tested, tuned, and ready to ride upon shipment.

Our advice is that it depends a lot on how and where you ride. If you like the hills, ride fairly long distances, sometimes carry gear and aren’t training all the time to be in optimum fitness, a compact is a nice way to go. You get the easy shifting of a double crankset with huffy mountain bike gears that make most climbs manageable. Some time-trial bikes, as well as some compact, smaller models come equipped with 650c wheels, which are smaller diameter than 700s. These are a little lighter and slightly stronger, and they accelerate faster than standard 700c wheels.
