The sweetness of this fragrance is creamy here; to me it reminds me of the smell of vanilla cupcakes with raspberry jam on the inside. It becomes more floral as it dries down, with iris and jasmine coming to the fore. The vanilla is strong and long-lasting, unfortunately overwhelming the floral accords. Sillage is strong on me and longevity is longer than average, turning into a skin scent after six hours or so. It has a creamy, slightly powdery drydown, but the vanilla is eternal. Reminiscent of a strong, sweet scented candle.

It smells like something in the air freshener aisle labeled “berry fields” and it’s just all faux sweet berry praline scent. I was hoping the raspberry note would lighten, or freshen this, but it just adds another layer of syrupy artificial sweetness. Whatever else this is, it’s the smell of freedom to me.
This is just my impression of this perfume. Looks like it just doesn’t agree with my skin chemistry since there are other people who consider this version the best in the LVEB line. This starts with a nice fruit/flowers, to the point that it seems another perfume than the original.
