I assume people who don’t like the original will really like this one. I do enjoy it but just not enough to want to buy a full size bottle, and it is expensive. This one just doesn’t have the wow factor and is very unmemorable. It doesn’t last near as long either, and sits close to the skin only after an hour or so and lasts around 6 hours. I easily get 10+ hours with OG La vie est belle and 2 days + on clothes!!
This is a very “pink” fragrance to me, and not just because the juice is pink. I literally do see pink during the initial seconds of spraying La Vie Est Belle Intensement. (I’ve been diagnosed as having synesthesia, so I don’t find this alarming.) There are a few fragrances that cause this particular materialization of color, but this one really makes this happen. Suddenly I am snuggling in the arms of a big pink teddy bear, whose soft pelt is scented with this delectable concoction.
