I won’t go into the specifics other than to say if you’ve used resin bands in the past & been less than pleased with them you won’t be any more pleased with this one. But if you’re satisfied with them, you’ll be happy with this one too. FYI, I had a new, g shock protection spare, $8, generic, black velcro band that I’d planned to use on my old watch, so I tried it on this watch & it works great. It looks decent & you’d have to know that the watch originally came with a different band to pick up on it’s being a replacement.

Another wgreat G Shock, in my opinion, anyway, is the GDX-6900, the XL version of the DW6900. The GDX has a 10-year battery, and the size is fine for my wrist. I have the blacked-out version, and have no problem reading the negative display. I think it’s a discontinued model, but it’s a really nice watch and a great addition to my collection. G-Shock is the ultimate “bang for the buck” watch, but that’s especially true for the cheaper models.
