First, my last review was incorrect in saying you could see the heater unit that deters coil buildup, you cannot. I found out that the spa cover has a check valve type of inflation opening like a quality air mattress so air does not escape when you stop inflating. I will continue to search why it becomes softer as though it is losing air (?), it may be that it loses air until it reaches proper air pressure (?). It maintained temp easily at setpoint and most of time did not have the heater was not running.
Again, this is only a problem if you’re in the tub for a long time. The testing kit includes testing strips, but purchasing a liquid drop testing kit is suggested to make water testing much easier. These can be obtained from a pool supply store for about $50, but they will last for several years. We live in the south and I have used tub everyday for a month. It really is a soaking tub the bubbler is great but the tub cools quickly whith extended use. You will need to get a few chemicals as well but tub is easy to keep clean.
The bubbles work great but if you keep it indoors, I would not fill it to the max line as it bubbles out. If you want to fit four comfortably, I would suggest the larger tub. The Deluxe Models of the Intex PureSpa line have a luxurious Onyx Black finish, which feels much more high end than the Sahara Tan finish of the base models. However, on Amazon, the Intex PureSpa Greywood Deluxe has attracted over 780 user reviews, generating an average rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars. If you choose to take your Pure Spa down and store it for part of the year, it’s quick and easy to do so. It will take about an hour for the water to drain out. You need to leave the spa inflated until it has dried completely before putting it in the storage bag. The installation of the Intex Pure Spa couldn’t be any easier. It only took one person about ten minutes to set up.
The model also features a puncture-resistant laminated 3 ply material that helps extend the lifetime of the hot tub. With the right care, this Intex hot tub will last for a couple of years. With the built-in pump, the jacuzzi will inflate in just a few minutes; however, heating up the cold water can take up to 12 hours, depending on how cold the intex baby float weather is. When the water reaches your desired temperature, you can remove the cover, enter the tub, turn the massage system, and relax.
This spa supposedly fits up to 4-persons, but we think three people will be the maximum that can fit comfortably in this tub. It’s perfect for couples that want to enjoy a relaxing soak together. If you live in a chillier climate and don’t plan to pack your hot tub up for the winter, look for one that can handle colder temperatures. There are some ways to speed up the process of heating the water in your inflatable tub. The best thing you can do is cover it, which will confine the heat inside.
Electricity – Think of the hot tub like you would a portable heater, about $15 to $50 dollars per month depending on the outdoor temperature and how often you use the tub. Obviously, costs in certain areas of the country are more than in others. It doesn’t have a chemical smell and doesn’t irritate skin. We have been using our spa for 3 weeks and it has performed very well. Set up in the basement for now as we have an area with an exast fan. Plan to replace it every five years or so unless you rarely use it. Some inflatable hot tubs are built for up to four people, while others can seat six. You can sit on the tub walls of the PureSpa Plus and barely notice any give. If you didn’t already know it was an inflatable hot tub, you might actually be surprised because of how solid the walls get when fully inflated.
However, we think it’s nothing worth getting over-excited about. Here are the primary considerations for selecting the right hot tub for you. Pack it up in minutes, and take it on vacation with you wherever you go. Intex is part of a group of companies established some 40-years ago, and Intex is the worldwide leader in inflatables.
