From my experience G-Shocks are more actual than ever and are continuing to be a great choice for everyone that wants a tough watch with tons of functionalities. The G-Shock Steel Smoke Dial comes with a new design that sets it apart from other G-Shocks. The metal casing and high-quality rubber band baby g shock show from the start that Casio really was into designing a more stylish G-Shock with a modern feel. You get an extremely rugged watch with lots of useful functions that will make your life easier. If you consider it has what it takes the G-Shock Ana-Digi watch is a great bang for your bucks.
Its triple sensor system is really the highlight of this watch and what makes it particularly great. The Casio G-Shock Mudmaster GWG-1000 is the ultimate watch if you want a timepiece that can handle virtually any situation, harsh conditions, and handle serious shocks, bangs, and other things that an outdoor watch may be subject to. The watch has a radio-controlled atomic timekeeping function which ensures perfect accuracy at all times. It does this automatically so you won’t have to think about ever setting the accuracy. It also has the ability to adjust according to summer and winter time. Starting off with the case, it goes without saying that this is a case design that is out of the ordinary.
Once, while having just finished a spirited run at 25 mph downhill, he noticed that the watch was missing. Where it was, only the forest knew, and it was now too dark to look for it. Returning the same trail with his trusty Blue Heeler, Rocky, they stopped midway near some water to let the dog fill up.
Because of its size, it’s not the most comfortable, but it does the job for what it’s meant to do. Thanks to its rugged construction, you won’t have to worry about whether or not it will hold up. This is a very multifunctional analogue/digital watch with Compass, extreme shock resistant case, Tough Solar and Atomic timekeeping. 2 years battery life and uses a standard CR2025 battery which are cheap and easy to source. Although not recommended because of the water resistant O ring you can at a push replace the battery easily yourself with only a small screwdriver. Casio has announced that it will be adding a new watch to its G-SHOCK MUDMASTER range, this one will be built from forged carbon.
The watch features a very bright illumination technology „Super-Illuminator” as Casio calls it, that can be activated with the touch of a button. The luminous coating on the hands and hour markers are very bright and will offer great readiness even in very dark environments. In addition to its Mud Resistant structure, the timepiece is equipped with Triple Sensor capabilities, allowing for reading of altitude/barometric pressure, temperature, and direction. Accurate timekeeping is made possible through Multi-Band 6 technology.
Additional features like a calorie calculator, automatic time adjustment, phone finder, and world time for over 300 cities make this function-packed watch even more of a powerhouse. Another color option in this series is the G Shock Mud Master GSG-100-1A3DR which is designed in olive green color with a beige dial to enhance readability. The color combo is available for a competitive price.G Shock Mud Master GSG-100-1A3DR Price starts from $236. This minimal black dialer with Khaki resin band watch is priced just right according to its specification.
Features showcasing toughness include Tough Movement, Smart Access Crown, Tough Movement and G-SHOCK’s legendary Shock & 200M Water Resistance. Stopwatch , Countdown Timer , Day/Date Display, and Full Auto Calendar and Mute Function. Case Size is a formidable 59.5mm H X 56.1mm W x 18mm D and comes in at 119g. The case is made of high-rigidity carbon material to protect against damage and deformation due to impact and other rough treatment, while metal button pipes ensure a tighter seal against the external environment. A filter further protects against the invasion of mud, for the high level of dust and mud resistance required when in severe environments. In addition, the dual back cover consists of a stainless steel panel back and an outer cover made of shock resistant fine resin embedded with glass fibers.
It’s almost silly when you’re sitting around drinking beer, but when the helmet and gloves go on, it looks right at home. I couldn’t find the specs on the crystal, but the bulky bezel does help protect it from the beating of limbs or rocks that might meet its surface. The crystal on this watch had a few marks on it signifying its service to the wearer and it wears them like a badge of honor. Its shiny surface looked as though it had been run across a belt sander on more than one occasion.
Although I didn’t manage to damage it I feel like over time this may end up being the most scruffy part of the watch. I would actually prefer if this buckle was a tough resin or if the metal was PVD coated or finished in a non glossy brushed finish instead. Firstly the lume on the hands should extend to the numbers on the dial too or at the very least an extra single lume dot at the 12 position. This means that in the pitch dark you know ‘which way up’ the watch is and more importantly don’t read the watch with a slightly crooked wrist and inaccurately guess which hour it is.
The CASIO G-SHOCK GGB100-1B combines a pilot/military aesthetic with a nod to the past of the military spec sword hands along with modern carbon fiber and buttons inspired by fighter jet joysticks. The Mudmaster GGB100-1B g shock watch combines the GMT capability of the famous Rolex GMT with pilot/ outdoor essential features like an altimeter and compass. It’s no surprise that the G-Shock is so popular with so many modern military units.
