STRONG. I’ve been smelling this all night long from one sample spray on the back of my hand. It starts with a strong, fruity rhubarb note, then transforms into musk and white flowers. I don’t find this fragrance to be something new. It’s like the top note of Sì Passione and the middle note of Crystal Noir glued together, and the glue is a subtle version of Angel Muse on my skin. However, I believe that this fragrance can be a good option for the summer evening. If you are looking for fragrances that aren’t cloying but still sweet, or something you can wear as a go-to scent for casual occasions, you wouldn’t regret trying this one out.
Ralph Lauren perfumes are normally so boring or generic but this is like crack in a bottle. I love both, and I think RL Woman will become a classic. I’m hoping for a wintery/intense/absolu version, maybe with the hazelnut note really amped up as I cannot smell it here.
After the rhubarb fades, it’s mostly a tuberose scent which is easier to wear. The dry down is nice with hazelnut and sandalwood. I just can’t get past the rhubarb opening, so I’ll have to pass on this one. It is rare for me to not fall in love with anything from Ralph Lauren , but this fragrance does not inspire me . I love gardenias and white flowers in nature and life, but in perfume they are sometimes too intense .
I also don’t get a distinct hazelnut, more wood on my skin. On my skin I get soft, mild Tuberose and warm woodsy notes, an airy sweet not as well – maybe the pear/rhubarb-mix. I might buy a bottle – I think this scent will be at its best in springtime. It is not really new as composition but it satisfies my recent passion for creamy white florals, without being too voluptuous and without that critical indolic note.
It is long lasting, about 6-8 hour on me, and I was all set to get a bottle, but there is something in the last stages of the drydown that I am not fond of. It may be the generic “wood” note, as that tends to make me feels little unsettled. The perfume itself is well done and reminds me of the quality of the older Ralph Lauren fragrances. Not a loud fragrance but still attention getting. I had just sprayed it on my arm in the store when a gentleman asked what i was wearing.
Sparkly is hard to achieve without aldehydes or citrus, but this pear absolutely sparkles. For me, as the drydown progresses, the pear stays as the standout note. Because it becomes soloed out, it does feel slightly more synthetic, but not to a fault. As for woody notes, I really don’t get any. Perhaps some sandalwood in the base, but not the woodiness I was expecting, which I like.

I usually blind buy full bottles of fragrances but i decided to sample this one first and I’m glad i did. I was reading other people’s reviews and my standards were set too high for this one. This has a sour candy smell at first which has to be the rhubarb. This note makes the fragrance different and interesting, but I don’t think I want to smell like a jolly rancher.
Lately I have been staying away from floral perfumes and moving towards really saccharine and musky perfumes. This one is for sure more sweet than you would think. Ralph Lauren describes this as a magnetic “blend of florals and ralph lauren t shirt sandalwood.” Magnetic is a great description! This is the most unique perfume in my collection and I am really enjoying it. Don’t get me wrong, I love to smell fresh and clean. Woman by Ralph Lauren fits this bill perfectly.
