Reason being the sillage and longevity are something to be desired. More investigating necessary for this one,but all in all it is a pleasant mainstream scent. The bottle has a very much needed flip top. With so many perfumes, it’s hard to find a top at times! Even cheap bottles should have grandma crocheted strings as far as I’m concerned.
I get moderate longevity and sillage, which is a little disappointing to me. I will say that is does have a sweetness to it, but to me, the floral and woodsy notes balance it out, keeping it classy. As the pear fruit exits the florals enter. This is a tuberose scent and that’s a rarity nowadays. I don’t have too many frags made in the last few years that have a prominent tuberose.

Seems like anyone can put tuberose in a bottle along with a few other notes to create an inherently white flower scent without really formulating something magical. Just a theory but probably not a fair statement since every person has their own unique chemistry. If this is very close to Glamorous from the early 2000’s I’d love to give it a try. I think the target market for this is women 30-50ish but I’m 24 with a decent collection and I still love this. This perfume is so interesting, it is unlike any other perfume I have smelt. I was in the store trying to find something sweet and musky and this one just jumped at me more than any of the other ones I picked up. I think it’s the sandalwood that gives it something special.it’s floral but it is not sharp and it’s just so dreamy.
Kudos is also due for the bottle and packaging; Woman’s are far more appealing than most department store releases of late. After all the fanfare and praises, I went to check it out. A voluptuous, womanly Tuberose full of va-va-voom is Michael Kors.
I have Royal Hawaiian Tuberose cologne that I bought in Maui and the opening is similar. The RH perfume stays the same, it’s just Tuberose but RL Woman is unique and has many layers. RL perfumes have never lasted long on my skin, and this is no exception. What starts off as a fresh pretty white floral just lands on flat woods. A review mentions Chloe’ EDP, which may be what I’m smelling which catches in the back of my throat like a slight raspy quality. This is part of the silage quality of a fragrance where it stands out from the skin several inches.
This scent would be great as an all-season signature scent. It starts off rather light, fresh, and fruity, and you can smell the tuberose and orange blossom following directly behind the pear and black currant. Nothing is overly sweet which is great in a non-gourmand fragrance. I dont pickout ralph lauren t shirt any rhubarb at this stage. Woman is a creamy tuberose that is supported by pretty bright, sweet fruits, a sumptuous nutty accord and lovely woody notes. The arrangement is not at all a screechy white floral affair, but a well rounded creamy, fresh feeling and rather intriguing scent.
