In a way it reminds me of Gucci Bloom, but with a slightly fruitier note, the pear, and that cuddly softness of the hazelnut, all without verging into the gourmand realm. So, after testing this right around a year ago, I finally got a bottle. Pear can be tricky on my skin or smell too aquatic but here it just tamps the tuberose down a bit. Of course, I’ve been wearing Lady Diana a lot, which is rhubarb forward, so that may be why I don’t get any.

A good quality fragrance and very pleasant. If I did not have so many tuberose fragrances already, I would definitely purchase this one. It does often come off as very synthetic I’ve found, but it’s blended so nicely with the white florals in this that I can actually say that I like it.
One caveat – for the price, longevity and sillage aren’t impressive. Perhaps not appalling, but not great either. The delightful Kummba oil I tested the same day far outperformed in both categories. This said, I can’t complain loudly, as this is true of nearly all recent mainstream releases. As others have stated, and I agree I don’t think it’s worth paying full price for it unless you really really love it.
It lasts for hours on my skin and there’s not single moment in its development over time that isn’t completely and utterly intoxicating. This perfume, for me, will be the apex of mainstream eau de parfum. I might have to come back to this polo dress shirts later, since it is quite new . It is strange how some scents just grow on you. My first impression was literally “Not my cup of tea.” Then I got back to it, once – still not impressed. And then a second time and it has won me over!
