But I love the bottle, have to admit it is unique and classy. The bottle and product packaging raises the bar – and is lovely. Ralph Lauren has always done a very good job styling their products in a way where they are easily marketed and have a wide appeal for commercial success.
When I read the card that came with my sample of this scent, it said to expect tuberose and woods. What I got when I sprayed it was a bright, fruity white floral – and a unique one. I think there are a lot of standard pairings among the white floral + fruit scents but this works so well. It’s comforting and smooth, but it’s also quite bright and sparkly.
As far as florals go this one is quite lovely if inoffensive, uncomplicated, and rather innocent as well. This Ralph Lauren Woman is quite young but over 18, under 30, inexperienced but getting there. The flowers fade into the background and then you detect hazelnut and woodsy notes. The wood is not big and in fact it’s quite clean, a tad soapy and a good finish to a simple scent. This smells like a more mature version of Britney Spear’s Curious. The pear and tuberose notes really stand out to me in both fragrances.

This still has mass market appeal, but it doesn’t smell like generic fragrance counter perfume. Though I do like some of the older RL perfumes, I haven’t really been into any of the fruit cocktail perfumes they’ve released post-2000. This is a beautiful tuberose that, to me, smells like a throwback to their earlier style yet still totally modern. The fresh rhubarb note is very nice too and a huge bonus is that unlike the majority of new releases, the sillage and longevity with this one is great! This fragrance starts off with grape flavored candies, which I assume is a combination of the pear and the black currant on the top of the rhubarb.
I also don’t get a distinct hazelnut, more wood on my skin. On my skin I get soft, mild Tuberose and warm woodsy notes, an airy sweet not as well – maybe the pear/rhubarb-mix. I might buy a bottle – I think this scent will be at its best in springtime. It is not really new as composition but it satisfies my recent passion for creamy white florals, without being too voluptuous and without that critical indolic note.
Sweeter and softer than Diptyque’s Do Son, or other more expensive tubereoe focused scents. Great transition fragrance for daytime office to evening, dinner soirée. I couldn’t find this in the shops where I live so I blind bought it online from UK and don’t regret it for one ralph lauren t shirt second! Beautiful perfume, a must for lovers of floral perfumes. This is a very pretty scent, it is light and classy. And, important note, I really like the minimalist bottle design with the hip-flask style bronze cap, very reminiscent of the old and iconic Safari bottle.
Its light, feminine, clean and easy to wear. Anyway, this is definitely a feminine scent. It’s got that wonderful, shining and almost metallic white musk and tuberose/jasmin feeling to it that just sings on the skin. I LOVE this perfume but it disappears on my skin probably 20 minutes into wearing it. I spray it on my clothes, not too close to my nose so I won’t go nose-blind, and it just fades.
Just a simple sweet white floral fruity floral and nutty-woody scent. These are all pop fragrance words I could throw but it’s more than the sum of it’s parts. ralph lauren t shirt It goes on quite strong at first so you only need a spray or two. Once it mellows down, it’s a gorgeous floral, fruity, and slightly woodsy fragrance.
Ralph Lauren perfumes are normally so boring or generic but this is like crack in a bottle. I love both, and I think RL Woman will become a classic. I’m hoping for a wintery/intense/absolu version, maybe with the hazelnut note really amped up as I cannot smell it here.
