Estée Lauder Free Gift

This is a fairly recent Estée Lauder discovery for me, and it totally lives up to some of my other brow-gel favourites (Glossier Boy Brow and Benefit Gimme Brow+ FYI). The applicator is tiny that so you can precisely coat each brow hair with pigment and comb them into place without ending up with hugely oversized brows. Plus, it’s packed with fibres, so you get a subtly volumising effect that’s perfect if you have sparse patches like I do. I normally avoid discussing favourite fragrances because they tend to be deeply personal, and if I’m honest, I’m crap at describing what they smell like. Described by Estée Lauder as the “deeper, nocturnal, more addictive side of a Modern Muse,” this is a warm, musky scent with hints of jasmine. George EastmanGeorge Eastman invented the Kodak camera, helping make photography accessible to the public.

I am nearly 49-years old and have been using Estee Lauder for over 10-years. LOVE their products and always go back to them even after trying other brands. When I can’t afford the Revitalising Supreme I use the serums and eye creme with Elizabeth Arden’s Visible Difference Day Moisturiser and Good Night Sleep Restoring Creme. As long as I use the serums underneath another mosituriser my skin is great. I also use the Double Wear Stay in Place Foundation and Compact/Pressed Powder.

When evaluating whether Estée Lauder works, the brand certainly has its fans and has been around for a long time. Some of its iconic products include Advanced Night Repair, which has won an InStyle Best Beauty Award and Allure’s Reader’s Choice Award in 2015 and 2016. The Double Wear Foundation received a Best of Beauty Awards from Allure magazine in 2018. Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick scooped an award from O, Oprah’s magazine, in 2018. Whether or not a products “works” can be a matter of personal opinion, as well as how an individual’s skin reacts to a product. One person’s miracle product can cause a breakout in someone else, or do nothing at all.

Back then, the company only offered a handful of products, and was still a far cry from formulating target skin care items such as Estee Lauder Soft Clean. Today, however, the company lineup has grown to include a massive array of skin care items, cosmetics, and fragrances. Estee Lauder Soft Clean is formulated to tone and hydrate the skin and is suitable for use before you apply other types of skin care products and may be a viable choice for anyone with dry to normal skin.

Although, at nearly £10 a pair, I save these for when I really want to bring out the big guns. Infused with the brand’s iconic Advanced Night Repair technology, they’re incredible cooling and soothing on tired eyes and leave the skin around your eyes looking plumper and brighter in just 10 minutes. At first glance, this looks like a similar concept to YSL’s iconic Touche Éclat, but this is miles superior. Not only does it offer plenty of glow and skin-brightening benefits, but it also acts as a decent concealer too, minimising blemishes, dark circles and redness. On good skin days when I don’t have much that I want to cover up, it’s great over moisturiser as a light, dewy base.

It had launched successful new cosmetic brands including Clinique, Prescriptives, Stila, M.A.C., and Aramis, and was the largest privately held cosmetics company in the world. Perfect your look for work or play with Estée Lauder makeup from Belk. Whether you prefer an ultra-sheer, barely-there look or love high drama, Estée Lauder’s buildable coverage and stay-in-place makeup make it easy to get the look you want. My favourite shade is Controversial , but the brand has an incredible selection of shades along with high-shine and metallic finishes too. But where do you begin if you’ve never shopped such a classic beauty brand before? I’ve tried pretty much everything from Estée Lauder over the years, but there are 14 products that I absolutely swear by. She loved to brush her mother’s long hair and apply creams to her face. Through her uncle, a chemist, Lauder later learned how to make her own beauty creams. She was only a teenager when she started selling her products at local hair salons.

From there, her formulas gained traction across the country and then the world. Between creams with velvety, luxurious textures and scents with impeccable, balanced notes, Lauder was rightfully seen as a pioneer in the beauty space. Throughout the second half of the twentieth century, she was lauded as a Estee Lauder NIGHT REPAIR master of her craft, earning prestigious awards like the Spirit of Achievement Award from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In October 1992, the BCA campaign was launched by Evelyn Lauder (Estée’s daughter in law) who co-created the “Pink Ribbon” with SELF magazine as a symbol of breast health.
