The product was a very easy-to-tell fake. The counterfeiters do not try to match details of the original product. Of course I returned the fake Polo, why would I want to keep a fake? The seller still has the Polo product advertised in eBay for cheap, which of course I won’t ever buy again.

In America today, and sadly enough, there seems to be an abundance of outlandish polo dress shirts apparel and accessories available to male consumers. These offerings have flooded the retail market with obnoxious items that seemingly move men out of their comfort style zone and into unchartered distasteful territory.
I don’t know of any fragrance that actually smell close to it though. Nothing to add but this is the epitome of masculine men’s fragrance. I never wore this on a ralph lauren t shirt regular basis in the past but I believe the recently purchased bottle I have, though true to what I remember, has the overall heft and base notes dialed back.

The original Polo has been my father’s signature and preferred scent since its original launch when he was a teenager! Since I was a small child I loved the smell because it IS my daddy.
Heavy on the pine needles, and a almost burnt out, tar like campfire smell. Honestly it reminds me of a smoky single malt scotch with a medicinal aura about it. Use it sparingly and the colder outside the better. Picked up a decant of this from Perfume.com, and have worn it 3-4 times.
At this juncture, America inaugurates a new chapter that seemingly breathes life back into a place that has been frozen in time for the last sixteen months or so. Thankfully, this Summer 2021 marks a pronounced return toward a cleaner, more refined and relaxed elegance that allows room for your style and your interpretation. Moving forward, successful leaders in the menswear industry will be more focused on interpreting their own brand values along with the creation of new products and new customer experiences.
