On the initial spray you definitely get the pine and the patchouli, almost overwhelming. As it dries down you keep some of the “forest-y” smell from the pine, but the “green” smell dies down and evolves into tobacco notes. As a result I get a “grandpa’s humidor” vibe after the first couple hours. It’s very green, very woody, and there’s a heaping helping of leather and tobacco hanging out very presently to support those green notes.

The Luxury Products reformulation is the current formulation being sold today, needless to say it is the inferior of the 3. A class in a bottle, stands on its own and is a trendsetter – a one and only green and leather chypre with a huge load of tobacco. This is the worst fragrance I’ve ever smelled. I’m not sure what went wrong – but I don’t believe people actually wear whatever I smelled.
