It’s sweet, very sweet actually, but retains that nice shampoo freshness that keeps it from being cloying. Even though this perfume isn’t “me” since it’s a bit on the sweet side, I must say that it is nice. I picture a mature older woman in a fragrance like this. I adore tuberose and pear together and this has a soft vanilla under that. To me this is a summer-fall transitional fragrance. It reminds me of the kind of fragrances I started out wearing when I first got into perfumes in the late 90ties.
I love the smell of these fragrances, but can’t wear them as a signature – for this very reason. They become fragrances that I will occasionally wear, even though I may like some of the notes within them. The second and final stage sees the pear and black currant on its way out, and the tuberose and orange blossom are joined by warm yet subtle hazelnut and some woodiness. This second and final stage is warm and somewhat smooth; its the exact opposite of the beginning. This was recommended to me multiple times based on others in my collection. I’m really trying to figure out why they recommend it so highly?
I wear it at work but it is not a work perfume. Woman by Ralph Lauren by Ralph Lauren is a Floral fragrance for women. Woman by Ralph Lauren was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Anne Flipo.
Ralph usually delivers a creative and quality made product that does not disappoint , and this one is an absolute winner for me. I do really like the notes, but there is a synthetic smell to my nose that I can’t deal with. I commented a while back that a sample of this perfume reminded me of talcum powder too much for me to use (it’s the type of perfume to give me a headache). Well, I wound up giving the sample to my mom, who likes those types of scents . I completely forgot about that perfume until I smelled Woman and it just hit me down the memory lane! I could not place it at first and identify where I felt this scent before, but now I think it’s just like LBD.
I usually blind buy full bottles of fragrances but i decided to sample this one first and I’m glad i did. I was reading other people’s reviews and my standards were set too high for this Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt one. This has a sour candy smell at first which has to be the rhubarb. This note makes the fragrance different and interesting, but I don’t think I want to smell like a jolly rancher.
