Rhubarb is kind of a trendy note right now, and I like the tart edge it lends to Woman in the opening. Underneath that is a creamy and smooth bouquet of classic florals, with a buttery but clean tuberose as the main note. The hazelnut really comes out in the drydown, and it smells delicious, like it was sugared polo dress shirts and roasted. The pear gives the fragrance a slightly cooling edge. I’m not particularly fond of their fragrances for women, I tend to avoid fruity florals and aquatics but this is a much welcomed change. The base is smooth and creamy and provides a good backdrop for the pear and the black currant.
Some have mentioned a creamy tuberose and I wish I got more of that, or any! Very strong, so best sprayed sparingly in my opinion. Woman by Ralph Lauren is super fresh white floral. Good choice when you want to smell “crisp” all day. The fruit notes are more so for balance, so it doesn’t smell tropical or anything.

It is definitely my favourite Ralph Lauren scent so far . I tend to love me some black currant notes for fall, I am excited to see if I prefer this to my old fall and winter love Si or not in the long run! It is warm and cozy but it’s not all softness and sweetness, like Si it has plenty of character, charm and energy. It reminds me of the scents he wears but still very feminine.
This fruity note gradually fades away and shifts to the scent of creamy white flowers. Last for five hours on my skin, where most of fragrances disappear in a couple of hours. The scent is a modern take on classical fragrances from 80s to my nose. Youthful and classic at the same time if it makes sense. RL Woman is a very pretty white floral with hints of gourmand and juicy fresh fruit.
I can get away with wearing this for pretty much any occasion and for many parts of the year. Plus, I am always receiving compliments when I wear this. Definitely will be keeping this in my collection for a while.

RL Woman is a very clean and soapy tuberose-jasmine-orange blossom. I do get the sweet pear, but probably wouldn’t pick it up if I hadn’t seen the note balance by the Fragrantica community. RL Woman is absolutely intoxicating, Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt very classy, and will be signature material for the right person. Apply lightly, as it can be headache-inducing. Woman has a taming and beautifying effect on them, making them day time wear friendly.
Seems like anyone can put tuberose in a bottle along with a few other notes to create an inherently white flower scent without really formulating something magical. Just a theory but probably not a fair statement since every person has their own unique chemistry. If this is very close to Glamorous from the early 2000’s I’d love to give it a try. The orange blossom emerges somewhere in between, but blends in well. This has admirable lasting power and gets more cozy as it wears on. The scent itself is wonderful, I’m actually releaved that for once a designer has made a scent which isn’t a gourmand or has a lot of sugar and confectionary in it. I can’t detect any of the hazelnut or the rose notes on my skin however.
