The 45mm GA A1ER “Stealth” model has been designed to present a full blackout dial picture and the slightly smaller 43mm GMA-S2100-1AER which is also predominantly black but with polished rose gold indices and hands. I have an older atomic solar G Shock with a positive display and this one syncs with the atomic clock better–it has done so every night since I bought it. I agree with the other positive comments about great functionality and comfort–love the bracelet. I’d like to say more about the negative display since it gets so many negative comments.

GA100C-8A $ 99.00 G-Shock’s most popular large case analog/digital series introduces a new color collection, the GA100C’s. What I understood from reading the whole paragraph(“Impact”) in the manual is that the manual is a general guide of how to operating watches with this movement, instead of exclusively for this G-shock model(GA-2100). So, there is an additional sentence to state that the shock-resistant watch models(G-SHOCK, BABY-G, G-MS) with this movement do have the ability to survive from much stronger impacts. Despite global troubles, the last 12 months was a good one for the watch community as there were plenty of new models to look at even if launches were online affairs rather than mass gatherings.
Throughout the years, the Casio G-Shock has successfully become an iconic watch that a lot of people adored. With the Casio Baby G and Casio G-MS, the G-Shock line became a popular choice for men and women of all ages. Overall, G-Shock is one of the best watches you can get for an affordable price range.

Now I’m forced into using an alarm clock which doesn’t make me happy after having spent more on this watch than any other watch I’ve ever owned. I have small wrists & have never liked resin bands but hoped that Casio was putting a more comfortable band on a pricier watch. Well, I tried it for several days & if you have a small wrist it’s no better fitting or more comfortable than the cheap plastic band on a no name watch.
DW5600BBN-1 $ 99.00 From G-SHOCK, the watch brand that is constantly setting new standards for timekeeping toughness, comes the DW5600BBN-1 with monotone black coloring and a cloth band. DW9052-1B $ 69.95 Some say, “If it isn’t broken. Don’t fix it.” Well, G-Shock thought it time to add a subtle change to the classic DW9052. GA100MB-1A $ 99.00 G-Shock’s most popular large case analog/digital series introduces a matte black watch, the GA100MB-1A. If you have owned a G-Shock or Casio AQ Tough Solar analogue/digital watch then the new 5611 Module hand operation will be intuitive and familiar. Select the traditional ADJ setting on the digital screen, adjust the time to the chosen value and the hands automatically match the inverted LCD display. The Casio GA-2100 series has the same 8-sided bezel design, and it is no surprise that significant parallels have been drawn between the external appearance of the two watches.
This I would wholly support , but if the name G-Shock appears on a watch, I genuinely feel it should be able to do what a G-Shock does. If you are a seasoned G-Shock wearer then these watches g shock protection will surprise you. They are noticeably slim and light-generating the immediate question of whether they can maintain the shock-resistant characteristics synonymous with the brand.
GBA800UC-2A The good-looking designs and utility colors of these models maximize coordination possibilities with both everyday fashions and training wear. GA700SK-1A This model features two-tone g shock protection coloring that matches bright hues with semi-transparent resin for the case and band. GSTB300SD-1A Introducing the new rugged style of G-STEEL models that feature Carbon Core Guard structures.
Would have been great if you could have suggested more consistant options aiming the same market target. If it is more important to flash the brand name in a smaller, lighter package then the CasiOaks may be just the watch for you. Do not misunderstand me, I can see how this range makes complete commercial sense to Casio. They have a hugely successful brand and why not expand it, perhaps to cover other equipment such as backpacks or sunglasses.
Compare the new and vintage Casio models and you can clearly see the family trait, nevertheless the moniker of “CasiOak” has stuck and the GA-2100 will forever be known as such. Vintage classics like the first Casio G-Shock DW-5000C model are still a great find, especially for a collector. Even though the DW-5000C came out in 1983, it can still hold on its own due to its simplistic design and color scheme.
Casio tweaked the case and dial for this ’90s model, adding those three round counters and a couple of big screws in the bezel. It has 29 time zones and improved visibility, but more importantly it’s graced the wrists of Pharrell, Usher, Kanye and Walter “Shomer f$%#ing shabbos” Sobchak in The Big Lebowski. Many harken back to the earliest G-Shocks with squarish cases that appeared in 1981 from the drawing pad of renowned Casio designer Kikuo Ibe. The broad category of digital watches, however, ranges from small retro-styled units to some of the wildest behemoths in the G-Shock range.
