We must admit, however, while the size is great if you’re getting a big family dinner on or entertaining guests, this device might be a little large for a smaller kitchen. We also had some trouble getting the lid to lock in, so this would take practice. As well as being multi-use, this food processor does all of the above really quietly and is unobtrusive in size .
For best results, the manual suggests a seconds rest time between cycles; something parents will have to count on their own. Maybe a healthy veggie puree for dinner, maybe a fruity blend for dessert? The unit has seven parts to assemble before use, but cooking and pureeing food is relatively quick compared to the competition. It has a four cup capacity, which is the second largest container capacity for the products we tested. Just like with ordinary food processors and steamer systems, there are reports of smoking motors, melting plastics, quickly dulled blades, breaking clips, and other various defects.
You control the level of puree, so it doesn’t need to be overdone.
