The GA-700 has an extra-large rugged case (53.4 millimeters-wide, larger than a GA-100) combined with a 3D index and large analog hands. The face also includes an LCD display for features like world time, stopwatch, countdown timer, 5 daily alarms with 1 snooze alarm, and 12/24 hour format. The basic black GA-700-1B is a best-seller, and other popular military-inspired colors are available in the Utility Color Series seen above. The black GST-210B-1A features black resin bands and stainless steel outer bezels. The Rangeman is resistant to mud and dust with its protected button structure, and the sensors are easily accessed with a single button. It was around this same period that Casio launched the Baby G collection for women in a smaller size. By 1998, Casio announced that it had sold 19 million G-Shock watches worldwide and today that number has grown to over 100 million watches sold. These relatively premium G-Shocks are popular because they’re so damn great, but they remain pretty readily available. Styled just like the originals, but now with fully metal construction, including bracelets on some models.

Using an innovative approach, G-Shock has come up with a timepiece for every type of active lifestyle.
