The 21-year-old Athletico left-back won gold with Brazil at the Tokyo Olympics and follows in the footsteps and style of his former teammate Renan Lodi, now at Atletico Madrid. Website Transfermarkt estimates he is worth 7.5 million euros. Mackage “Hektor” jacket with seam-sealed construction. Hooded neckline; storm visor with leather drawcord. While Paco Rabanne Pour Homme turns sweet and musky, Polo stays more green, mossy and earthy, more outdoorsy and crisp. I definitely get some caraway or cumin, and tobacco . But there is also just a hint of sweetness in the background that binds Polo Ralph Lauren t shirt together the green, earthy and spicy notes. But those who grew tired of its ubiquitous presence 3 decades ago, should reassess Polo, having had enough time elapse to heal those wounds that result from our reactions to something all too familiar.

I don’t think anybody will think you smell good. It will create an aura of old man though. I’m thinking 50+ with a limp and a beer belly. Definitely clean shaven, maybe a mustache. I mean, I do like it and will probably buy a bottle, but I have a few years before I get there.

Lauren started The Ralph Lauren Corporation in 1967 with men’s ties. At 28 years-old, Lauren worked for the tie manufacturer Beau Brummell. He persuaded the company’s president to let him start his own line. Drawing on his interests in sports, Lauren named his first full line of menswear “Polo” in 1968. He worked out of a single “drawer” from a showroom in the Empire State Building and made deliveries to stores himself.

It’s a bit dirty at this point but that’s part of its appeal and what gives it character. It’s simultaneously rugged and classy. When it dries down to the its basenotes, the pine gives off a damp sweetness. I never knew anybody in my background who wore Polo. My only childhood association was a teacher who reminisced that men splashed it on at the gym. I became acquainted with it when I began selling fragrances at a department store and let me tell you, I sold a lot of Polo.

My Vintage bottle arrived today, what a fantastic scent, so happy I found it. This is for those who may want a wearable version of the original, but mostly for those who seek the nostalgia and memories associated with the scent. To me, this is more spring and fall oriented.

Look if God had his own perfume house, then this would be the garden of Eden scent. This scent is soo good and takes me back. My poor ERG forever stunk of Polo Green after that, the smell literally never vanished! Back in the day this stuff was a whole forest crushed and compressed into liquid form and then crammed into a bottle! My uncles signature for over 30 years.

I’m not sure what the perfumer originally intended to evoke with this scent but in the light of typical colognes these days I smell a pipe smoking hairy lumberjack. Not a pansy rich polo player with palm olive hands. Kinda makes me wish I was in high school in the early 80s when this was a normal everyday scent. This is definitely a barbershop type fragrance; I’ve used aftershaves which smelled very similar.
