Yes the octagonal shape of the watch is reminiscent of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, hence the Casioak nickname, but I love the design of it. There’s no specialty tools required to take the strap off and it’s so easy to do. I haven’t tried any after market straps yet but I probably will in the near future.
