Smells green all day long – if you would like something more cleaner and less daring then floris 1962 is an option. A true Masterpiece of art in fragrance. All others should bow down before the great green Polo god. There are more than enough reviews here covering the way it smells, so I won’t go into that, except to say that this smells fantastic. Another old-school powerhouse I am very glad to have added to my growing collection. If it makes me smell “dated,” I am perfectly happy with smelling that way.
The Paneled Merino Wool Sweater is made from a quilted tartan and merino blend. The sweater features a zip-front closure and lots of extra insulation for keeping warm during cool weather. The sleeves are navy while the tartan pattern is in a mixture of green, blue, and black. Crafted out of soft cotton, this collared shirt features a small Polo Ralph Lauren embellishment at the left chest. All and all, a lovely scent that will be around for decades, those that want a “modern” perfume, go to the corner CVS and get a cheap AXE. This is a clean, older-style scent, and is very much in my wheelhouse as a result.

This scent is soo good and takes me back. Every time I spray it, I think of my friend, and playing with our Star Wars figures back in the day, which is nice. Everyone needs a few anchor-points back to their young and carefree days, and funnily enough, Polo Green has become one of mine from a memory I will always look back on with a smile. My poor ERG forever stunk of Polo Green after that, the smell literally never vanished! Back in the day this stuff was a whole forest crushed and compressed into liquid form and then crammed into a bottle! My uncles signature for over 30 years.
